At GreenFinder our aim is to help the public live a green and ethical lifestyle. Our listings and articles include information on recycling, second hand goods, organic food, eco weddings, composting and many more subjects.
We aim to help the public find this information through our website and our showcase stall which we set up at green fairs, exhibitions and local authority events. The stall is set up so the public can view eco friendly products and access information on ethical and environmentally friendly services available throughout the U.K.
We also have a sister site called The Midlands Green Pages which promotes the green businesses of the counties of central England.
Ethical and Environmental Policy
GreenFinder actively promotes green and ethical businesses. We ask that all companies listed on our website provide their green and ethical policies for their company profile.
We will not advertise any company which we believe to be unethical or supplies products which are not ethically sourced.
We,
- Use 100% renewable energy
- Bank with an ethical institution
- Use a carbon neutral company for our phone and internet connection
- Use recycled paper
- Recycle all waste paper
- Donate 5% of all profits made to environmental projects
All companies that attend our green fairs/events also have to confirm that all products for sale are ethically sourced and do not use excessive packaging.
