Getting Started with your Ethical Ads account

It's pretty straight forward the first step is to get in touch with us and open an account.

Once your account is open, you can start to create a campaign.

You are able to supply multiple banners, each promoting the various aspects of your brand and products, and each with their own destination URL linking resulting traffic to specific areas of your website.

We provide you with login access so you can view the performance of your campaign, which is summarised by publisher, by banner, by day and by the hour. By monitoring your statistics you can manage your campaign ensure that your campaign maintains effectiveness.

If you have tracking software installed in your website then you can supply a specific URL with a tracking code to view the activity of the traffic we send to you.

Using Campaigns

Campaign promotion is a great way to promote your products and business. Using creative and innovative methods of communication as well as direct promotions will not only deliver a level of quality traffic to your website, but it also raises your company profile or brand awareness. This means that it supports a more longer-term function and potential customers will remember who you are and about your company, supporting future sales success.

Prices

Advertising in the Ethical Ads network is sold in bundles of 1000 ad impressions. This means that every occasion your banner is shown you are charged a pre-arranged fee. The industry standard description of this method is Cost per (Thousand) Impressions (CPM).

Ethical Ads operates on a rotation basis. Every time a page loads the advertisers banners are rotated. This means that you don't have to continue creating new banners to avoid the typical 'banner blindness' that is normally associated with online marketing.

All campaigns are priced individually, depending on volume, creative input and distribution.

Our average rates are £5.00 CPM (cost per thousand impressions).

A typical spend of £500.00 will provide you with 100,000 impressions.

Our in-house design team can design your banners for you. Banner design and creative is charged at a rate of £50 per hour.

There are other online methods to record activity so why have we chosen this particular method for our members? Well...

CPM recognises the inherent value in the display of visual banners on websites as well as any resulting clicks or sales. Publishers place the banners in prime locations on their websites so that the images are clearly visible- just because a visitor has not clicked the banner does not meant that the message or image has not had an effect - memory of the brand of offer may later inspire them to engage with you.

The Ethical Ads network is also, as illustrated in through the survey, clearly targeted at conscious consumers. CPM therefore guarantees a level of exposure to the right market- it falls to the advertiser, like every other promotional media, to ensure that their presentation has the desired effect.
